Description

Dried cornflower blossoms for rabbits and rodents: a natural, colourful treat

Whole cornflower blossoms, dried to keep their deep blue colour. A 100% plant-based treat that rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas love to find in their hay. It adds variety and colour to their day, with no added sugar and no additives.

🌸 A single ingredient: the cornflower

Composition: 100% cornflower blossoms (Centaurea cyanus), dried. No colourings, no preservatives, no added flavourings. The blue comes from the flower's natural pigments.

✅ Why choose our cornflower blossoms?

  • First-grade quality: whole blossoms, not broken bits.
  • No added sugar: a light alternative to processed treats.
  • Enrichment: searching, sorting and nibbling keeps your pet busy and helps prevent boredom.
  • Tempting: a few blossoms scattered on hay encourage even fussy eaters.
  • Generous volume: dried blossoms are very light, so 120 g fills a large bag that lasts a long time.

🥕 How to give them

  • As a reward: one or two blossoms by hand
  • As a topping: scattered over hay
  • As an activity: in a snuffle mat or treat toy
  • Mixed: with our other natural treats

A small pinch (a few blossoms) 2 to 3 times a week is enough. Cornflower blossoms complement a diet of unlimited hay, which remains the bulk of every meal. Always make sure fresh water is available.

🐇 Which animals are they for?

  • Rabbits (dwarf, lop, angora…)
  • Guinea pigs
  • Chinchillas
  • Degus
  • Hamsters and gerbils (in very small amounts)
  • Tortoises

📦 Storage

Keep in a dry, cool place away from light: light fades the blue of the blossoms. Reseal the bag after opening.

  • Farmers by trade

For generations, our family has grown and selected the finest forage. We know exactly what herbivores need — and that makes all the difference.

  • Hand-picked quality

Every batch is carefully checked by hand to ensure healthy, natural food suited to small pets. No compromises, just the best.

  • From field to home

No middlemen: we harvest, pack and ship directly from our farm. The result? Full traceability and optimal freshness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Le bleuet convient-il aux lapins ?

Oui.
