Natural treats for rabbits and small pets
At Haynest, our natural rabbit treats are designed to give pleasure without unbalancing the diet. They're ideal as small rewards, to vary textures, stimulate curiosity and enrich your companion's daily life.
Rabbits (like other small herbivores) need a high-fibre diet based on unlimited hay. Treats should therefore remain a complement: small amounts, carefully chosen. That's exactly the aim of this collection — simple, transparent and natural treats.
Simple rewards, nothing superfluous
Our treats are selected for their naturalness:
- No added sugar
- No colourings
- No artificial flavourings
- Gentle drying to preserve scent and texture
Our treats, and how to give them
- Dried apple chips and dried carrot chips: rich in natural sugars, they are the most indulgent treats in the range and best kept as rewards. As a guide: 1 to 2 chips, broken into small pieces, a few times a week.
- Floral Mix – Garden Flowers and Wild Herbs: dried flowers and plants; sprinkle a small pinch over the hay to encourage foraging.
- Dried dandelion leaves: the taste of dandelion all year round, as a small pinch hidden in the hay.
- Chicory roots and dandelion roots: firm pieces to gnaw from time to time, for a change of texture.
Good habits
Introduce one new food at a time, in a small amount, and always keep hay available without limit: it remains the basis of the diet. Treats replace neither hay nor fresh greens. To find out more, read our guide to natural rabbit treats.
